The primary objective in the schematic design is to arrive at a clearly defined, feasible concept while exploring the most promising alternative design solutions. Gardens of Growth will formulate a concept and create rough drawings that explore scale, appearance, and relationships between components. Models, illustrations, and inspirational photos are prepared to help the client visualize the project if necessary. A preliminary cost analysis is sometimes explored. An exploration of the opportunities and constraints of each idea will be presented to the client. The client will then make a choice favoring one design over another or possibly selecting elements from several to be incorporated into a new design.
