Hummingbird Feeder Tips
- Don’t purchase a feeder that is too large. An 8 ounce feeder will be much easier to maintain.
- Plastic feeders will discolor over time.
- Purchase a feeder that is easily constructed and is easily taken apart, and with as few number of parts as you can find.
- Put up several feeders in different locations so that a hummingbird feeding at one feeder will not be able to see – or dominate – the other feeders.
- Put feeders up in places where they can be enjoyed by human observers.
